General thoughts
I recently joined Onfinance AI as the founding product designer, and it’s been 25 days since I moved to Bangalore. So far, it’s been an amazing journey.
We’re building a B2B enterprise fintech AI product, and the work is complex and challenging. But honestly, I love it. I thrive in tough environments, and the people at Onfi are amazing to work with. One thing I’ve noticed is how hardworking everyone here is, and that kind of energy inspires me to push myself even more.
Although my parents and friends are a bit worried about me overworking and not prioritizing my health, but honestly, these past 25 days have been the happiest of my life. I haven’t felt tired or stressed at all. I’m still trying to figure out why that is, but maybe it’s like Aristotle said:
At the end, all a man really wants is to be happy.
I’ve realized that when I’m deeply focused on my work and lose track of time, I feel a kind of happiness and satisfaction that’s hard to describe. And I think what sets me apart is that I’m not working for my company, my boss, or even for the money. I’m working hard because I genuinely love designing products. I want to be one of the best designers out there, and maybe because I work for myself.
