Life OS: principles over preferences

General thoughts
Over time, I have observed a common trait among wealthy and healthy people—character. Character is the core of their overall development, and it’s not something they were born with. They developed it through habits and principles over time.
So, I decided to develop certain principles and habits that will help me build my own character. I will follow them 100%, without procrastination, to gain compound benefits.
Here are the principles I’ve been following for the last 2 months:
1) Rule of implementation:
Don’t read books or watch podcasts just for the sake of it. Gaining knowledge without implementation is a pure waste of time.
Always remember: Karm yog >>> Gyan yog .
(Learned this from one of Amit Das’s blogs, and it stuck with me instantly.)
2) Don’t judge, Only observe:
Don’t judge people, situations, or circumstances. Constant judgment releases negative energy. There could be hundreds of reasons why someone did something you didn’t like. The same applies to situations. So, don’t ruin your mental peace by complaining or asking, “Why did this happen to me?”
Wake up every day and say, “I won’t judge anything today. I will just work on things I love.” P.S. This principle is hard to follow 100%, so I end up judging things 20%–40% of the time, but I’m constantly trying to improve.
(Learned this from a book by Deepak Chopra.)
3) 30 minutes of maintenance:
Just like a car, your body needs regular maintenance. So, every day spend 15 minutes on Kapalbhati and 15 minutes on cardio.
Always remember: You don’t want to die lying in a hospital bed.
So far, these are the principles I’ve added to my Life OS, and I’ll continue adding more as I learn more about life and myself.
